How Can I link my Rio Card to UPI app?

To add your Rio card to any UPI app, you will need the last 6 digits of your card and the expiry date. You can get these details directly from the Rio app. Additionally, you will also be able to directly link your Rio card to popular UPI apps like Paytm, GPay, PhonePe, etc., from the app directly.

How can I pay a retail offline merchant using the Rio Card on UPI?

Open the UPI app on your mobile, click ‘Scan’, and the QR scanner will open in the BHIM app. Scan the QR, enter the amount, select the Rio credit card from the drop-down menu, and confirm the payment by entering the UPI PIN. Payment confirmation will be displayed once the payment is done.

How can I pay an e-commerce merchant using the Rio Card on UPI?

Payment can be made for e-commerce merchants through an Intent request or a collect request from the merchant. Select your UPI app as payment mode at the merchant website /app, log into the UPI app, select the Rio credit card from the drop-down menu, and confirm the payment using UPI Pin. Payment confirmation will be displayed; once the payment is made, you will be routed back to the merchant page.

Which Apps can I use for UPI transactions using Rio Card?

Currently, the Rio credit card can be linked with all NPCI-recognised TPAPs to make UPI transactions. Examples include BHIM, PhonePe, GPay, Cred, etc.

Can I pay any person or other credit card using the credit card linked to UPI?

Payment to the merchant (P2M) will only be allowed from the linked credit card.

How many transactions are allowed from linked Credit cards on UPI?

There is no limit for the number of transactions carried out from a linked Credit Card on UPI.

Is there any limit on the amount of transactions that can be carried out via the Rio Credit card?

The amount limit per card per day on UPI is ₹2 lakh; however, it will be limited to the available credit limit on your card.

Will I be charged for linking or carrying out any transaction on UPI via my Rio Card?

You will not be charged for linking your Rio Card to any UPI app or for making a UPI transaction via your Rio Card.

What are Rio Coins and how do I earn them?

Rio Coins are the rewards won by transacting via your Rio Card. 4 Rio Coins are equal to ₹1 and can be adjusted directly against your Credit Limit. For all transactions done with the Rio Card via any UPI app, you will get 3 Rio Coins on every ₹100 spent and 1 Rio Coin on every ₹100 spent for non-UPI transactions.

How can I check how many Rio Coins I have earned?

You will be able to check your earned Rio coins from the Benefits section on the homepage. You will also be able to see the total accumulated Rio coins on the top right corner of the home screen. Rio Coins will accrue at the end of each billing cycle, after the statement is generated.

How can I redeem my Rio Coins?

You will have the option to redeem your Rio coins from the Benefits section on the homepage.

I have not earned any Rio Coins on my transaction. Why did this happen?

This can happen in the following cases:
a. The amount is less than ₹50.
b. You transacted on a merchant which falls into the no-reward category: Fuel, Rentals, Repayments of loans, Jewellery, Cash Withdrawal, Wallet load, Insurance, Education, Government Services, Utility payments, EMI, Purchases converted to EMI post the transaction is complete. For a complete list of ineligible MCCs, refer to the MITC.

How do I get my full card number?

Currently, you will not be able to get your full Rio card number. We are working on this, and it will be available in your card details section on the Rio homepage soon.

How do I get the bill for my Rio Card?

You will receive your bill on your registered email id on the billing date of every cycle. You can see your billing date on the homepage of your Rio app.

How can I see my available and outstanding balance on my Rio Card?

You will be able to track the credit utilized and the remaining credit limit on your card directly from the Rio app. It will appear below the Card details section on the home screen.
